Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 1 cup
  • Psyllium husk - 2 tablespoons
  • Coconut flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Warm water - 1/4 cup (adjust as needed)
  • Oil for frying - as needed

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, psyllium husk, coconut flour, and salt.
  2. Gradually add warm water to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms. Adjust water as needed.
  3. Knead the dough for a minute until smooth, then cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into small balls (about the size of a golf ball).
  5. On a parchment paper or a silicone mat, roll each ball into a thin circle, about 4 inches in diameter.
  6. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, gently slide one puri into the oil.
  7. Fry the puri until it puffs up and turns golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side.
  8. Remove the puri with a slotted spoon and place it on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  9. Repeat the process for the remaining puris and serve hot.
