Ingredients

  • Cauliflower rice - 200 grams
  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Psyllium husk - 1 tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons (for frying)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cauliflower rice, almond flour, psyllium husk, turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt, and baking powder. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  2. Add water gradually, kneading the mixture until a dough forms. The dough should be pliable but not sticky.
  3. Divide the dough into small balls and flatten them into thin discs (about 1/4 inch thick).
  4. Heat coconut oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the flattened discs one by one, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
  5. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the pan and place on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  6. Sprinkle black sesame seeds on top while still warm for added flavor and crunch. Serve immediately.
