Ingredients
- Cauliflower rice - 200 grams
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Psyllium husk - 1 tablespoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons (for frying)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine cauliflower rice, almond flour, psyllium husk, turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt, and baking powder. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Add water gradually, kneading the mixture until a dough forms. The dough should be pliable but not sticky.
- Divide the dough into small balls and flatten them into thin discs (about 1/4 inch thick).
- Heat coconut oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the flattened discs one by one, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
- Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the pan and place on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- Sprinkle black sesame seeds on top while still warm for added flavor and crunch. Serve immediately.
