- Prawns - 300 grams, peeled and deveined

- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons
- Kashmiri red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Fresh cilantro - for garnish
Steps
- Heat coconut oil in a kadai or deep skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
- Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the pureed tomatoes, salt, turmeric, and Kashmiri red chili powder. Cook until the oil separates from the mixture, about 5-7 minutes.
- Mix in the diced bell peppers and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they are slightly softened.
- Add the prawns to the kadai, stirring to coat them in the sauce. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the prawns turn pink and are cooked through.
- Sprinkle the coriander powder and garam masala over the dish, stirring well to combine. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
