- Green Gram Flour (Pesarattu flour) - 100 grams
- Water - 200 ml
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Mozzarella Cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Bell Peppers (mixed colors) - 50 grams, diced
- Onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
- Tomato - 50 grams, diced
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Chili Flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh Basil - 5 grams, chopped
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine green gram flour, water, and salt to form a smooth batter. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- Pour half of the batter into the skillet and spread it evenly to form a thin pancake (dosa). Cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
- Flip the dosa and sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese on top, followed by half of the diced bell peppers, onion, tomato, oregano, and chili flakes.
- Cover the skillet and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the toppings are slightly cooked.
- Transfer the pizza to a plate and repeat the process with the remaining batter and toppings to make the second pizza.
- Garnish both pizzas with chopped fresh basil before serving.
