Ingredients

  • Zucchini - 150 grams, grated
  • Spinach - 100 grams, finely chopped
  • Coconut flour - 40 grams
  • Almond flour - 40 grams
  • Besan (chickpea flour) - 20 grams
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Green chili - 1, finely chopped
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Water - 100 milliliters
  • Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon, for greasing

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated zucchini, chopped spinach, coconut flour, almond flour, besan, grated ginger, chopped green chili, turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add water gradually to the mixture and stir until you achieve a smooth, thick batter.
  3. Grease a steamer or a heatproof plate with coconut oil.
  4. Pour the batter onto the greased plate, spreading it evenly into a rectangular shape.
  5. Place the plate in the steamer and steam for about 20 minutes, or until the mixture is firm and cooked through.
  6. Remove the plate from the steamer and let it cool for a few minutes.
  7. Once cooled, cut the steamed patra into slices or rolls.
  8. Serve warm, optionally garnished with a sprinkle of coconut or fresh herbs.
