- Zucchini - 150 grams, grated
- Spinach - 100 grams, finely chopped
- Coconut flour - 40 grams
- Almond flour - 40 grams
- Besan (chickpea flour) - 20 grams
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Water - 100 milliliters
- Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon, for greasing
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the grated zucchini, chopped spinach, coconut flour, almond flour, besan, grated ginger, chopped green chili, turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Add water gradually to the mixture and stir until you achieve a smooth, thick batter.
- Grease a steamer or a heatproof plate with coconut oil.
- Pour the batter onto the greased plate, spreading it evenly into a rectangular shape.
- Place the plate in the steamer and steam for about 20 minutes, or until the mixture is firm and cooked through.
- Remove the plate from the steamer and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Once cooled, cut the steamed patra into slices or rolls.
- Serve warm, optionally garnished with a sprinkle of coconut or fresh herbs.
