Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 1 cup
  • Ground flaxseed - 2 tablespoons
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chopped green chilies - 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped ginger - 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons
  • Water - 1/2 cup
  • Oil (for greasing) - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, ground flaxseed, baking powder, salt, and cumin seeds.
  2. Add chopped green chilies, ginger, and coriander leaves to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  3. Gradually add water to the mixture, stirring until a smooth batter forms; let it rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat a paniyaram pan over medium heat and grease the cavities with a little oil.
  5. Pour a tablespoon of batter into each cavity of the paniyaram pan.
  6. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until they turn golden brown, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Remove the paniyarams from the pan and serve hot with coconut chutney or a low-carb dip.
