- Almond flour - 1 cup
- Ground flaxseed - 2 tablespoons
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Chopped green chilies - 1 teaspoon
- Chopped ginger - 1 teaspoon
- Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Oil (for greasing) - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, ground flaxseed, baking powder, salt, and cumin seeds.
- Add chopped green chilies, ginger, and coriander leaves to the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Gradually add water to the mixture, stirring until a smooth batter forms; let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Heat a paniyaram pan over medium heat and grease the cavities with a little oil.
- Pour a tablespoon of batter into each cavity of the paniyaram pan.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until they turn golden brown, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove the paniyarams from the pan and serve hot with coconut chutney or a low-carb dip.
