Ingredients

  • Paneer - 200 grams
  • Plain Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Bell pepper (cubed) - 1 medium
  • Onion (cubed) - 1 medium
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Skewers - 4 (soaked in water if wooden)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, cumin powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and salt to create the marinade.
  2. Cut the paneer into 1.5-inch cubes and add them to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the paneer is marinating, cut the bell pepper and onion into 1.5-inch cubes.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and brush it with olive oil.
  5. Thread the marinated paneer, bell pepper, and onion onto the skewers alternately.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the paneer is golden and slightly charred.
  7. Remove from heat and serve hot with a side of mint chutney or yogurt dip.
