- Paneer - 200 grams
- Ghee - 2 tablespoons
- Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
- Tomato - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Bell pepper (capsicum) - 1/2, finely chopped
- Fresh coriander leaves - a handful, chopped
Steps
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in the grated ginger and chopped green chili, cooking for another minute.
- Add the chopped tomato, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes soften.
- Add the chopped bell pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
- Crumble the paneer into the pan and mix well with the vegetables and spices.
- Sprinkle garam masala over the mixture and stir for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the paneer to absorb the flavors.
