Ingredients

  • Cauliflower florets - 200 grams
  • Spinach - 50 grams, chopped
  • Almond flour - 100 grams
  • Psyllium husk - 1 tablespoon
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Oil for frying - 200 ml

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, mix the almond flour, psyllium husk, baking powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the chopped spinach and cauliflower florets to the bowl and mix until well combined.
  3. Gradually add water to the mixture, stirring until a thick batter forms that coats the vegetables.
  4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Using a spoon, drop small portions of the batter-coated vegetables into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
  6. Fry the pakoras for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove the pakoras using a slotted spoon and drain them on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with a side of mint chutney or your favorite keto-friendly dip.
