- Cauliflower florets - 200 grams
- Spinach - 50 grams, chopped
- Almond flour - 100 grams
- Psyllium husk - 1 tablespoon
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - 100 ml
- Oil for frying - 200 ml
Steps
- In a large bowl, mix the almond flour, psyllium husk, baking powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the chopped spinach and cauliflower florets to the bowl and mix until well combined.
- Gradually add water to the mixture, stirring until a thick batter forms that coats the vegetables.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Using a spoon, drop small portions of the batter-coated vegetables into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
- Fry the pakoras for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the pakoras using a slotted spoon and drain them on paper towels.
- Serve hot with a side of mint chutney or your favorite keto-friendly dip.
