Ingredients

  • Mutton mince - 300 grams
  • Onion - 1 medium (finely chopped)
  • Garlic - 4 cloves (minced)
  • Ginger - 1 inch (grated)
  • Green chili - 1 (slit)
  • Tomato - 1 medium (chopped)
  • Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons (chopped)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste
  • Bell pepper - 1/2 medium (finely chopped)
  • Spinach - 50 grams (chopped)

Steps

  1. Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  2. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chili. Sauté for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften, then add turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Add the mutton mince and cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the meat is browned and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
  5. Incorporate the chopped bell pepper and spinach, cooking for an additional 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  6. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
