- Almond flour - 100 grams
- Coconut flour - 30 grams
- Fenugreek leaves (methi) - 50 grams, chopped
- Psyllium husk - 2 tablespoons
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 100 ml (or as needed)
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cheese slices - 2 (optional)
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Sliced tomatoes - 1 medium
- Cucumber slices - 1 small
- Green chutney - 2 tablespoons (optional)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, psyllium husk, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- Add the chopped methi leaves to the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Gradually add water to the dry mixture until a dough forms; it should be soft but not sticky.
- Divide the dough into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Cook each patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- In the same pan, optionally melt a cheese slice on each patty for the last minute of cooking.
- To assemble the burger, place a lettuce leaf on a plate, add the cooked patty, top with sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, and spread green chutney if using.
- Cover with another lettuce leaf and serve immediately.
