  • Fresh methi (fenugreek) leaves - 50 grams
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the fish fillets to the marinade and coat them well. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the fish is marinating, wash and chop the methi leaves finely.
  4. Heat the coconut oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  5. Once the oil is hot, add the chopped methi leaves and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they wilt.
  6. Remove the methi leaves from the pan and set aside.
  7. In the same pan, add the marinated fish fillets and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Once the fish is cooked, return the sautéed methi leaves to the pan and gently mix everything together.
  9. Serve hot with a side of salad or steamed vegetables.
