Ingredients

  • Raw peanuts - 200 grams
  • Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons (chopped, for garnish)

Steps

  1. Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add raw peanuts to the pan and roast them for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they turn golden brown.
  3. Once roasted, reduce the heat to low and add ground cumin, ground coriander, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, black pepper, and chaat masala to the peanuts.
  4. Mix well to coat the peanuts evenly with the spices, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let the peanuts cool for a few minutes.
  6. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves before serving.
