  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Cauliflower - 100 grams (steamed and mashed)
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon (grated)
  • Green chili - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons (chopped)
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oil - for frying (coconut or olive oil)
  • Heavy cream - 100 ml
  • Tomato puree - 100 grams
  • Onion - 1 small (finely chopped)
  • Garlic - 2 cloves (minced)
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - 100 ml

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the paneer, almond flour, steamed cauliflower, grated ginger, chopped green chili, chopped cilantro, and salt. Mix well to form a dough.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into small balls (koftas).
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the koftas until golden brown on all sides. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  4. In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed and sauté the chopped onions until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Stir in the tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes, then add garam masala, cumin powder, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and water, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes until the gravy thickens slightly.
  7. Carefully add the fried koftas to the gravy and let them soak in the sauce for about 2-3 minutes.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with additional cilantro if desired.
