Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 300 grams
  • Almond flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh coriander (cilantro) - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fresh mint - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Green chili - 1, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Egg - 1, large
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (for brushing)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, almond flour, chopped coriander, chopped mint, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green chili, garam masala, cumin powder, salt, black pepper, egg, and lemon juice.
  3. Mix the ingredients well until thoroughly combined. You can use your hands for better mixing.
  4. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into long, cylindrical kebabs, about 10 cm in length.
  5. Place the shaped kebabs on the prepared baking tray and brush them lightly with olive oil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the kebabs are cooked through and slightly browned on the outside.
  7. Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
