- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons (for cooking)
- Cucumber - 1/2, diced
- Greek yogurt - 150 grams
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped cilantro, chopped mint, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, black pepper, and beaten egg. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a burger patty.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the lamb kofta burgers for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the cucumber yogurt sauce by combining the diced cucumber, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Mix well.
