Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 100 grams
  • Unsweetened desiccated coconut - 50 grams
  • Erythritol - 30 grams
  • Ghee (clarified butter) - 2 tablespoons
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chopped walnuts - 20 grams
  • Chopped pistachios - 10 grams
  • Salt - a pinch

Steps

  1. In a non-stick pan, heat the ghee over low heat.
  2. Add the almond flour and desiccated coconut to the pan, stirring continuously for about 5-7 minutes until lightly toasted and fragrant.
  3. Stir in the erythritol, cardamom powder, and salt, mixing well to combine.
  4. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the mixture to thicken.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly until it is comfortable to handle.
  6. Once cool enough, use your hands to shape the mixture into small balls (ladoos) about the size of a golf ball.
  7. Roll the ladoos in the chopped walnuts and pistachios for added texture and flavor.
  8. Place the finished ladoos on a plate and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to set before serving.
