- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon (optional)
Steps
- In a saucepan, bring 1.5 cups of water to a boil.
- In a separate pan, heat ghee over medium heat and add cumin seeds, allowing them to crackle.
- Add the chopped green chili, grated ginger, and minced garlic to the ghee, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the salt, black pepper, and coriander powder, mixing well.
- Gradually add almond flour to the boiling water, stirring continuously to prevent lumps.
- Once the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan (about 5-7 minutes), remove from heat.
- Fold in the sautéed spices from the ghee mixture into the thickened almond flour mixture until well combined.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro and a drizzle of lemon juice if desired.
