Ingredients
- Fish fillets (cod or tilapia) - 250 grams
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon (or to taste)
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 tablespoon
- Oil for frying - 200 ml
Steps
- In a bowl, combine ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
- Add the fish fillets to the marinade and coat well. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg and set aside. Place almond flour on a plate.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Dip each marinated fish fillet in the beaten egg, allowing excess to drip off, then coat with almond flour, pressing gently to adhere.
- Fry the coated fish fillets in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from the pan and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with a side of lemon wedges.
