  • Water - 500 ml
  • Ghee - 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic, minced - 1 teaspoon
  • Green chili, chopped - 1 small
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Rinse the yellow split lentils under cold water until the water runs clear, then soak them in water for about 15 minutes.
