Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams

  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Tomato puree - 150 grams
  • Heavy cream - 100 ml
  • Cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, garam masala, cumin powder, paprika, and salt to create a marinade.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and add it to the marinade. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably in the refrigerator.
  3. Heat coconut oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and cook until it is browned and cooked through, about 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in the tomato puree and simmer for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream, stirring until well combined. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
