Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Ginger paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, garam masala, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric powder, red chili powder, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt to create a marinade.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat your grill or oven to 200°C (400°F).
  4. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers, leaving space between each piece.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.
  6. Once cooked, remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
