Ingredients
- Chicken breast - 400 grams
- Heavy cream - 100 ml
- Greek yogurt - 50 grams
- Ginger paste - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Green chili - 1 (finely chopped)
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh cilantro - for garnish
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine heavy cream, Greek yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, lemon juice, green chili, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade. Ensure each piece is well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for best results.
- Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium-high heat. If using skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers (if using) and brush with melted butter.
- Grill the chicken for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and slightly charred. The internal temperature should reach 75°C (165°F).
- Once cooked, remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
