Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 400 grams
  • Greek yogurt - 120 grams
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Bell peppers - 100 grams (cut into chunks)
  • Onion - 1 medium (cut into chunks)
  • Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and place them in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and black pepper to make a marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken cubes and mix well to coat the chicken evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for better flavor.
  4. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and brush it lightly with olive oil.
  5. Thread the marinated chicken, bell peppers, and onion onto skewers, alternating between chicken and vegetables.
  6. Grill the skewers for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.
  7. Once done, remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with a side of keto-friendly dipping sauce, if desired.
