  • Canned tomatoes - 200 grams, chopped
  • Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. Heat coconut oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add sliced onions and cook until they are soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
