Ingredients
- Almond flour - 100 grams
- Coconut flour - 25 grams
- Psyllium husk - 10 grams
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ghee - 1 tablespoon (for dough)
- Water - 150 ml (adjust as needed)
- Ghee - for cooking (as needed)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, psyllium husk, baking powder, and salt.
- Add 1 tablespoon of ghee to the dry ingredients and mix well until crumbly.
- Gradually add water, kneading until a soft, pliable dough forms.
- Divide the dough into two equal portions and roll each portion into a ball.
- Place one dough ball between two sheets of parchment paper and flatten it using a rolling pin to form a round disc about 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little ghee.
- Cook the flattened bhakri for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through, adding more ghee as needed.
- Repeat the process with the second dough ball.
- Serve warm with additional ghee or keto-friendly chutneys.
