Ingredients
- Cauliflower - 400 grams
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Coconut flour - 20 grams
- Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
- Green chili (finely chopped) - 1 small
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh coriander (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons for frying
Steps
- Steam the cauliflower florets until soft, about 10-12 minutes, then drain and let cool.
- Once cooled, mash the cauliflower until smooth and ensure there are no lumps.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed cauliflower, almond flour, coconut flour, ginger paste, green chili, garam masala, cumin powder, salt, and fresh coriander. Mix well to form a dough-like consistency.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a round patty (tikki).
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the tikkis to the skillet.
- Cook the tikkis for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil. Serve hot with a side of keto-friendly chutney or yogurt.
