- Almond flour - 100 grams
- Pistachios - 30 grams, chopped
- Honey - 3 tablespoons
- Ghee - 2 tablespoons
- Saffron strands - a pinch
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
Steps
- In a small bowl, soak the saffron strands in 1 tablespoon of warm water for about 10 minutes.
- In a pan, heat ghee over medium heat. Add almond flour and roast it for about 5-7 minutes until it turns light golden and aromatic.
- Add chopped pistachios, cardamom powder, and salt to the roasted almond flour, mixing well.
- Pour in the honey and the saffron-infused water. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens and starts to come together.
- Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes. Once it's cool enough to handle, grease your palms with a little ghee.
- Shape the mixture into small round balls (ladoo) of your desired size.
- Let the ladoos cool completely before serving. Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
