- Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Ghee (clarified butter) - 1 tablespoon
- Milk - 100 ml
Steps
- Soak the saffron strands in warm milk for about 10 minutes to release their flavor and color.
- In a non-stick pan, heat the ghee over low heat and add the almond flour, stirring continuously for about 3-4 minutes until lightly toasted.
- Add the honey and the saffron-infused milk to the pan, mixing well.
- Stir in the cardamom powder and chopped pistachios, and cook the mixture for another 5-7 minutes, or until it thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased plate or tray and spread it evenly. Allow it to cool for about 15 minutes.
- Once cooled, cut into squares or diamond shapes and serve.
