Ingredients

  • Minced lamb or beef - 300 grams
  • Onion (finely grated) - 1 medium (about 100 grams)
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Green chili (finely chopped) - 1 small
  • Fresh coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh mint leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Almond flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Ghee or oil (for frying) - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced meat, grated onion, ginger-garlic paste, chopped green chili, coriander leaves, mint leaves, garam masala, cumin powder, black pepper powder, and salt.
  2. Add the almond flour and the egg to the mixture, and mix everything thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Cover the mixture and let it rest in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. After resting, divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a flat, round patty (kebab).
  5. Heat ghee or oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat, and carefully place the kebabs into the pan.
  6. Cook the kebabs for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Once cooked, remove the kebabs from the pan and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  8. Serve hot with a side of keto-friendly mint chutney or yogurt.
