- Skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
- Yogurt - 100 grams (for serving)
- Mint chutney - 50 grams (for serving)
- Sliced onions - 1/2 cup (for serving)
- Lemon wedges - 2 (for serving)
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced chicken, red onion, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, fresh cilantro, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix all the ingredients well until thoroughly combined and the mixture is slightly sticky.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them around the soaked skewers, forming kebabs.
- Preheat a grill or a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the kebabs for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through, making sure to turn occasionally for even cooking.
- While the kebabs are cooking, prepare the serving plate with yogurt, mint chutney, sliced onions, and lemon wedges.
- Once cooked, remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
- Serve the kebabs on a platter with yogurt, mint chutney, onion salad, and lemon wedges.
