- Minced chicken or lamb - 250 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Coconut flour - 2 tablespoons
- Butter - 2 tablespoons, for frying
- Lettuce leaves - 2 large, for wrapping
- Sliced tomatoes - 4 slices
- Sliced onion - 4 slices
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine minced chicken or lamb with chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chili, coriander leaves, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, black pepper, beaten egg, and coconut flour. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the kebab patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a separate pan, melt the remaining butter. Lightly toast the lettuce leaves in the butter for about 1 minute on each side.
- To assemble, place a toasted lettuce leaf on a plate, add a kebab patty, top with sliced tomatoes and onions, and wrap the lettuce around the kebab. Serve immediately.
