- Paneer - 200 grams
- Yogurt - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Bell peppers (mixed colors) - 100 grams, cut into cubes
- Onion - 1 medium, cut into cubes
- Skewers - 4 (soaked in water if wooden)
- Cooking oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Cut the paneer into 2.5 cm cubes and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt to create the marinade.
- Add the paneer cubes, bell peppers, and onion to the marinade, ensuring everything is coated well. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or BBQ pan over medium heat and lightly brush it with cooking oil.
- Thread the marinated paneer, bell peppers, and onion onto the skewers alternately.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the paneer is golden and slightly charred.
- Remove from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
