Ingredients

  • Paneer - 200 grams
  • Yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Bell peppers (mixed colors) - 100 grams, cut into cubes
  • Onion - 1 medium, cut into cubes
  • Skewers - 4 (soaked in water if wooden)
  • Cooking oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Cut the paneer into 2.5 cm cubes and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt to create the marinade.
  3. Add the paneer cubes, bell peppers, and onion to the marinade, ensuring everything is coated well. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat a grill or BBQ pan over medium heat and lightly brush it with cooking oil.
  5. Thread the marinated paneer, bell peppers, and onion onto the skewers alternately.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the paneer is golden and slightly charred.
  7. Remove from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
