Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Ginger paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish
  • Lemon wedges - for serving

Steps

  1. Cut the boneless chicken breast into bite-sized cubes and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic paste, ginger paste, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, black pepper, and olive oil to create a marinade.
  3. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well to ensure all pieces are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for better flavor).
  4. Preheat the grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
  5. Skewer the marinated chicken pieces onto metal or soaked wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.
  7. Remove from the grill and let the kebabs rest for a few minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve with lemon wedges.
