- Yogurt - 100 grams
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Skewers - 4-6 (soaked in water if wooden)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt to create a marinade.
- Wash and chop the fresh methi leaves, then add them to the marinade and mix well.
- Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to marinate.
- Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Brush the skewers with oil and place them on the grill. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
- Once cooked, remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
