Ingredients
- Chicken breast - 300 grams
- Fresh cream - 100 ml
- Yogurt - 50 grams
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
- Green chili paste - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons (finely chopped)
- Skewers - 4 (soaked in water if wooden)
Steps
- Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized cubes and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine fresh cream, yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, garam masala, black pepper powder, green chili paste, salt, coriander powder, and cumin powder to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
- Preheat the grill or oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Brush the skewers with oil and place them on the grill or in the oven. Cook for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.
