- Lean ground lamb - 200 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 inch, grated
- Fresh coriander leaves - 30 grams, chopped
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - ½ teaspoon
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Black pepper - ¼ teaspoon
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Breadcrumbs - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (for brushing)
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped coriander leaves, green chili, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, black pepper, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs.
- Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well incorporated. You can use your hands for better mixing.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into elongated kebabs.
- Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
- Lightly brush the kebabs with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the kebabs on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until they are cooked through and have a nice char.
- Once cooked, remove the kebabs from the grill and drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
