Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 200 grams, minced
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Green chili - 1, finely chopped
  • Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Egg - 1, beaten
  • Breadcrumbs - 2 tablespoons
  • Oil - for grilling

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the minced chicken, chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chili, coriander leaves, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and beaten egg. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  2. Add the breadcrumbs to the mixture and mix again until the mixture holds together. If the mixture is too wet, you can add a little more breadcrumbs.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a kebab (sausage shape).
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Brush the kebabs lightly with oil.
  5. Grill the kebabs for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve the Kebab-e-Bahar hot with mint chutney or yogurt dip.
