- Chicken breast - 200 grams, minced
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Breadcrumbs - 2 tablespoons
- Oil - for grilling
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the minced chicken, chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chili, coriander leaves, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and beaten egg. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Add the breadcrumbs to the mixture and mix again until the mixture holds together. If the mixture is too wet, you can add a little more breadcrumbs.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a kebab (sausage shape).
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Brush the kebabs lightly with oil.
- Grill the kebabs for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve the Kebab-e-Bahar hot with mint chutney or yogurt dip.
