Ingredients

  • Chicken breast, minced - 250 grams
  • Almonds, finely chopped - 50 grams

  • Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
  • Cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Green chili, finely chopped - 1 (adjust to taste)
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Oil - 2 tablespoons (for frying)
  • Skewers - 4 (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced chicken, chopped almonds, onion, garlic, ginger, cilantro, green chili, garam masala, cumin powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
  2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined. You may use your hands for better mixing.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer to form elongated kebabs.
  4. Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully place the skewers in the pan.
  5. Cook the kebabs for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Once cooked, remove the kebabs from the pan and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Serve hot with mint chutney or yogurt dip.
