- Potatoes - 400 grams
- Green peas - 100 grams

- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Cornflour - 2 tablespoons
- Oil - for grilling
Steps
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until soft, then drain and let them cool.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the boiled potatoes and add green peas, chopped onion, green chili, ginger-garlic paste, and fresh coriander leaves.
- Mix in the cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice until well combined.
- Add cornflour to the mixture to help bind the ingredients, and mix thoroughly.
- Shape the mixture into kebabs or patties, about 2 inches long.
- Heat oil in a grill pan or on a barbecue grill over medium heat.
- Cook the kebabs for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with mint chutney or yogurt dip.
