Ingredients
- Chicken breast - 200 grams
- Yogurt - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Onion - 1 medium, sliced
- Green chili - 1, slit
- Cilantro - a handful, chopped
- Mint leaves - a handful, chopped
- Paratha - 2 pieces
Steps
- Cut the chicken breast into thin strips and place them in a bowl.
- Add yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt to the bowl; mix well and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add sliced onion and green chili; sauté until onions are golden brown.
- Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and slightly charred.
- While the chicken is cooking, warm the parathas on a skillet until soft.
- Once the chicken is done, remove it from the heat and mix in chopped cilantro and mint leaves.
- Place a portion of the chicken mixture on each paratha and roll it up tightly.
- Serve the Kathi Kebabs hot with mint chutney or yogurt sauce.
