- Kashmiri red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Skewers - 4 (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, ginger paste, garlic paste, chopped green chili, cilantro, mint leaves, garam masala, cumin powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and beaten egg.
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined, then cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer, forming a cylindrical shape.
- Place the skewers on the grill or in the oven and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the kebabs are cooked through and have a nice char.
- Serve hot with a side of mint chutney or yogurt sauce.
