Ingredients

  • Lamb chops - 400 grams
  • Plain yogurt - 100 grams
  • Ginger paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Kashmiri red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine plain yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, Kashmiri red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, lemon juice, and salt to create the marinade.
  2. Add the lamb chops to the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or preferably overnight for deeper flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove lamb chops from the marinade and allow excess marinade to drip off.
  5. Brush the grill with olive oil to prevent sticking, then place the lamb chops on the grill.
  6. Grill the lamb chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  7. Once cooked, remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
