  • All-purpose flour - 50 grams
  • Water - 150 ml (adjust as needed)
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chopped onions - 50 grams
  • Chopped green chilies - 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oil - for cooking

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ragi flour, all-purpose flour, and salt.
  2. Add the chopped onions, green chilies, coriander leaves, and cumin seeds to the flour mixture.
  3. Gradually pour in the water and knead to form a soft, pliable dough. Ensure it is not too sticky.
  4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Divide the dough into equal portions (about 4-5 balls).
  6. On a floured surface, roll out each ball into a thin, circular roti, about 6-7 inches in diameter.
  7. Heat a tava or non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
  8. Cook each roti on the tava for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown, adding a little oil for crispiness if desired.
  9. Repeat with the remaining dough balls and serve hot.
