- Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- Soak the black-eyed peas overnight in water. The next day, drain and boil them in fresh water until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain and set aside to cool.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced cucumber, tomato, red onion, and chopped coriander leaves.
- Add the boiled black-eyed peas to the vegetable mixture.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and chaat masala.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine all the ingredients evenly.
