Ingredients
- Whole wheat pizza base - 2 pieces (200g each)
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Capsicum (bell pepper) - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Carrot - 1 medium, grated
- Tomato - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Green peas - 100 grams
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- Kadai masala - 2 teaspoons
- Salt - to taste
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cheese (mozzarella or cheddar) - 100 grams, grated
- Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the capsicum, carrot, and green peas. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
- Add chopped tomatoes, kadai masala, salt, red chili powder, and cumin powder. Cook for 5 minutes until the tomatoes soften and blend with the vegetables.
- Remove the vegetable mixture from the heat and let it cool slightly.
- Place the whole wheat pizza bases on a baking tray. Brush each base with the remaining olive oil.
- Spread the vegetable mixture evenly over each pizza base.
- Sprinkle the grated cheese generously on top of the vegetable mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh coriander leaves, and slice the pizza before serving.
