- Kadai masala - 2 tablespoons

Steps
- Heat the cooking oil in a kadai or deep pan over medium heat.
- Add the finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Stir in the grated ginger, minced garlic, and slit green chilies; cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
- Mix in the turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt; cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add the diced bell pepper and sauté for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
- Stir in the kadai masala and cook for 1 minute to enhance the flavors.
- Add the cleaned prawns to the pan, stirring well to coat them in the spice mixture.
- Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the prawns are cooked through and opaque.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
