- Prawns - 300 grams, deveined
- Bell Pepper - 1 medium, diced
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Tomato - 1 medium, pureed
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated

- Green Chili - 1, slit
- Cumin Seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam Masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh Coriander - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Coconut Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 1/2 cup
Steps
- Heat coconut oil in a kadai or heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds and let them splutter for a few seconds.
- Add finely chopped onion and sauté until it turns golden brown.
- Stir in grated ginger, minced garlic, and slit green chili; cook for 2 minutes.
- Add diced bell pepper and sauté for another 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
- Mix in the turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt; stir well.
- Pour in the pureed tomato and cook for about 5 minutes until the oil begins to separate.
- Add the prawns to the mixture and cook for 5-7 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque.
- Add garam masala, mix gently, and let it simmer for another 2 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped fresh coriander before serving.
