Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Paneer (cottage cheese) - 150 grams
  • Bell pepper (mixed colors) - 1 medium, diced
  • Onion - 1 medium, sliced
  • Tomato - 1 medium, diced
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Kadai masala - 1 tablespoon
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cooking oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Cheese (mozzarella or a mix) - 100 grams
  • Fresh coriander leaves - a handful, chopped
  • Red chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a pan, heat the cooking oil over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add sliced onions and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute before adding the diced tomatoes and bell peppers. Cook until they soften.
  4. Sprinkle in the kadai masala and salt, mixing well. Add the cubed paneer and gently stir to coat them with the spices. Cook for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
  5. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  6. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  7. Spread the spiced paneer and vegetable mixture evenly over the pizza base.
  8. Top with shredded cheese and sprinkle red chili flakes if using.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  10. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh coriander leaves, and let it cool for a minute before slicing and serving.
