Ingredients

  • Paneer - 200 grams

  • Bell Pepper (Capsicum) - 1 medium, diced
  • Green Chili - 1, slit
  • Ginger - 1 inch, grated
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cumin Seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red Chili Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves - for garnish
  • Oil - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Heat oil in a Kadai or a deep pan over medium heat.
  2. Add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.
  3. Add the finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
  4. Stir in the ginger, garlic, and green chili; cook for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the diced bell pepper and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
  6. Mix in the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt; cook until the tomatoes break down and the oil starts to separate.
  7. Crumble the paneer into the mixture and stir well to combine all ingredients.
  8. Sprinkle garam masala over the top, mix well, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
